It’s a great time to join TMP – we’re seeking a Senior Network Engineer.

As the Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the management and upgrade of our company network and helping design and implement a reliable, fault tolerant, and scalable network and voice infrastructure for our multiple geographically dispersed sites throughout North America and abroad.

Key responsibilities include:

* The operational management and troubleshooting of the infrastructure, as well as interacting with network and voice providers and equipment manufacturers
* Providing management of new initiatives affecting the infrastructure in the company locations
* Implementing performance tuning, monitoring and reporting systems
* Consulting with web hosting, business systems, and other internal application owners to ensure the network infrastructure satisfies the needs of the business

Skills/Requirements

Qualified candidates must have:

· A bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science

· A minimum of five years’ experience in network engineering support and design

· Detailed knowledge and operational experience with routers, switches, wireless devices, and security products, with an understanding of routing protocols and TCP/IP

· Superior network protocol troubleshooting skills

· Proven experience in the enterprise implementation of WAN technologies such as Frame-Relay, MPLS, VPN , QoS, encryption, multicast, access controls, VoIP, as well as cellular wireless
