Product Owner Mgr\User Stories\Agile

We’re seeking a Product Owner-Mgr to join our dynamic team.

TMP Worldwide is a high-tech development shop disguised as an advertising agency. We consistently work in the latest technologies providing our clients with first class web solutions.

As a Product Owner-Mgr, you will play a key role in the formulation of TMP’s next generation of products. You will serve as the team’s primary liaison between the product management and engineering teams. In collaboration with creative and IXD functions, you will ultimately be responsible for ensuring our software products meet the demands of a competitive marketplace that requires frequent yet compelling releases. As the voice of the end user and customer you will be expected to understand their needs and articulate them to the cross functional team.

Responsibilities:

* Communicate and document business goals, customer goals, end user goals
* Coordinate involvement of SMEs, users, and business stakeholders
* Establish flexible requirements gathering standards and practices
* Coordinate with other product owners/managers to insure coherence of product and releases
* Create, maintain and organize the product backlog into incremental releases
* Be available to answer questions and clarify details on user stories
* Participate in daily scrum meetings
* Specify objective acceptance criteria for stories
* Verify stories are done based on acceptance criteria
* Evaluate product at end of Sprint and add or remove stories from backlog as necessary
* Drive acceptance testing
* Deliver the iteration

Skills/Requirements:

* Bachelors degree
* 3+ years experience as a business analyst or agile product owner in consumer-based website environments.
* 1-2 years experience in a true Agile / Scrum / XP environment where Test Driven Development (TDD) and Paired Programming is present.
* Experience with a geographically distributed development team.
* Experience performing end-user interviews, leading requirements gathering sessions, and User Acceptance Testing
* Expert ability in requirements gathering, use case definition, business planning, data analysis, process analysis, business and functional requirements analysis, system design, testing implementation and change management
* Ability to mentor and coach others
* Strong writing, communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible environment
* Ability to work with business owners/stakeholders.
* Must have exceptional soft skills, including the ability to speak both technical and business
